Oscar is a 9 month old, male hound/lab mix. He was originally surrendered at no fault of his own, life happened. Oscar is an active boy who does well with other dogs – in fact we would prefer Oscar to have a playful canine companion because sometimes the world is a little large, and Oscar takes cues from other dogs. Oscar still has some puppy tendencies which easily can be fixed with some training and most importantly TLC and patience. We think Oscar would do well with older children because he is active and because he can be a little shy at first. Oscar would love a fenced in yard with just enough squirrels that he can chase! His most favorite toy is a tennis ball followed very quickly by squeaky toys. He LOVES to fetch and will do so as long as you would like to throw the ball. Oscar is a wonderful boy who is young and has so much love and silliness to offer a family!
